Bridal make-up for my friend Lily’s wedding

On a beautiful sunny day in September, I did the make-up for my old school friend Lily’s wedding. Lily went on to study at King’s College, Cambridge University, and there she met her now husband Graham. So they got married at the college where they first met!

For Lily’s wedding look, I applied Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in ‘Beige 02’ and Clarins Instant Concealer in ’01’ where needed, and then I set her base by lightly brushing on Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in ‘Diffused Light’ for an ethereal glow.

I then lightly dusted on some Body Shop Honey Bronze powder in the lightest shade, and applied MAC’s peachy powder blusher in ‘Rosy Outlook’ to the apples of her cheeks.

I created a soft smoky eye by applying warm browns from the Too Faced ‘Chocolate Bar’ eyeshadow palette, and added extra definition to Lily’s brows using HD Brow powder.

To create a peachy lip, I used a blend of Bobbi Brown lipsticks in ‘Uber Pink’ and ‘Orange’.
