Maybelline ‘Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner’
My all-time favourite gel eyeliner – which I mainly use for tightlining the waterline of the eyes – is this inexpensive little gem from Maybelline!
It comes in a dinky frosted glass bottle which reminds me of an ink well, and comes with a small but perfectly formed little eyeliner brush, which can be used to draw a fine line right next to the lashes, or a thick retro flick, depending on the angle that you hold the brush.
This product takes a couple of minutes to set, but once it does, it usually lasts all day. The only problem with gel eyeliners is that they can ‘transfer’ onto the lids on deep-set eyes, but this can be prevented by setting the line with some matching eyeshadow – I generally use MAC ‘Carbon’ or Bobbi Brown ‘Eclipse’ to set black gel liner.
