Fake Bake ‘The Face’ Anti-Aging Self-Tanning Lotion
If you’re feeling a little pale and pasty, you may like to try this brand new self tanning lotion especially designed for the face from Fake Bake, which costs £22 for 60ml. This 2-in-1 product promises to reverse signs of ageing while giving you a sun-kissed face, as it contains an ingredient called ‘Matrixyl-3000’ which apparently stimulates collagen production.
‘The Face’ contains a guide colour which is quite a dark brown (so that you can see exactly where you’ve applied it), but don’t be alarmed by this, as the colour that it develops into is actually a very subtle tan, suitable even for very fair girls, and you can reapply daily until you’ve built up to the shade you like.
I found that the best way to use this is to apply it in the evening, leave it to develop overnight, and then rinse it off in the morning. That way you get the skincare benefits overnight, and a subtle tan when you wake in the morning!
