Make-up for a wedding at Loseley Park near Guildford in Surrey
“I am so happy with my make-up in the photos…it was perfect all day and I had so many lovely comments” – Karen Jones
Karen got married at the beautiful and classic wedding venue of Loseley Park: http://www.loseleypark.co.uk/wedding/
Loseley House is a magnificent Elizabethan mansion situated in 1,400 acres of beautiful countryside, three miles south of Guildford in Surrey. Receptions are held either in the grand Great Hall (which has a ceremony capacity of 102 people) or in the charmingly rustic 17th Century Tithe Barn (which has a ceremony capacity of 140 people). The spectacular three acre walled garden is also a perfect location for reception drinks and wedding photographs.

The bride wanted a natural-looking, radiant make-up look for her wedding day. I used Clarins Instant Smooth Primer where needed, then buffed in Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation in shade no. 3, before using NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in ‘Creme Brulee’ to hide any dark shadows under her eyes.
I then set Karen’s make-up using Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder, before doing a subtle highlight and contour with Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette, and applying a soft peach blusher to warm her cheeks (NARS blusher in the shade ‘Sex Appeal’).
Karen wanted the main emphasis to be on her eyes, so used the shades ‘Marzipan’ and ‘Triple Fudge’ from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette to create a soft dark brown smoky eye for her.
Finally, I applied Clinique lipstick in the shade ‘Beige Pop’, a soft nude pink, to balance out the stronger eye make-up.
