Make-up & hair styling for a wedding at Botley Hill Barn in Surrey

“Thank you so much for my beautiful hair and make-up…we were all so happy with everything!”Emily Little

Gorgeous bride Emily had a festive and bohemian style December wedding, captured by wedding photographer Colin Nicholls: http://www.colinnichollsphotography.com/

For Emily’s make-up, I first applied Clarins Instant Smooth primer where needed, before buffing in Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation in shade no. 3 with a Zoeva foundation brush. I then applied NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in ‘Creme Brulee’ to brighten up under her eyes.

I then warmed her skin using Benefit Hoola Lite bronzing powder and a peachy-pink blusher, and dusted a pearly highlighter  all over to give her skin a subtle glow.

I used the sparkly rose gold shade from Charlotte Tilbury’s ‘Pillow Talk’ eyeshadow palette on Emily’s lids, before applying a dark brown eyeliner and then some lightweight and fluttery false lashes to emphasize her eyes.

Finally, I applied Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick in ‘Pillow Talk’ for a natural-looking tawny pink lip.

Emily has very fine hair, so I backcombed it at the roots before curling it on a large wand. I pinned it to set while I did her make-up, before combing it out very gently and applying lots of volumizing dust to give the very natural and tousled finish that she wanted. I then placed the flower crown on her head and pinned it carefully in place.
