Bridal hair and make-up for a wedding at Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking
Tamzin had a joyful September wedding at Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking in Surrey, captured by the lovely Surrey-based wedding photographer Emma Russell: https://emmarussellphotography.co.uk/
Denbies Wine Estate is a beautiful, romantic setting where you can celebrate your wedding surrounded by 265 acres of vineyards in the heart of the Surrey Hills.
I used a smoothing primer followed by L’Oreal ‘True Match’ foundation in ‘2 Neutral’ to create a perfect base for Tamzin, setting everything with the Huda Beauty ‘Easy Bake’ loose setting powder in the shade ‘Pound Cake’ and Too Faced bronzer in ‘Milk Chocolate’.
I then used RMS blusher in ‘Crystal Slipper’ to create a warm nude sheen on her cheeks, and NARS highlighter in a soft peach shade to create an overall glow.
I applied silvery and taupe shades from the Natasha Denona ‘I Need a Nude’ eyeshadow palette to enhance her dark grey-blue eyes, before adding further definition with a baby wing and a half lash.
I defined her lips with the Charlotte Tilbury lip pencil in ‘Pillow Talk Medium’, followed by Bobbi Brown lipstick in ‘Pink Mauve’.
Tamzin wanted a softly textured up do to complement her lace dress from Maggie Sottero. She has a natural wave and kink to her hair, so I straightened it all over, and then created a low ponytail which I turned into a rope braid, before wrapping over some oval hair padding for extra volume and structure. I then curled her tendrils for a romantic look.
