Gate Street Barn is built in the traditional style using wood from oak trees, and is in a secluded setting in the Surrey Hills, five miles south of Guildford.  It boasts beautiful landscaped gardens and views of the working organic farm, and can seat 150 guests during the day and up to 200 guests in the evening, with a choice of six catering companies. There’s also a special room for the bride to get ready in!

I began by using Avene Skin Recovery Cream, as Bex has very sensitive skin, followed a little Clarins SOS Primer in the light green shade to hide any redness and flushing on her cheeks, and Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation in ‘1 Fair’. I then set everything by buffing in some translucent powder and then some Benefit Hoola Lite bronzing powder, which is a very light matte tan shade ideal for very fair skin tones, to warm her complexion.

I used a nude-pink blusher on her cheeks, and Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in ‘Highlight 01’ all over to give her skin a subtle pearly glow.

I used a sparkling silvery eye shadow called ‘Opal’ by Bobbi Brown on her lids, some taupe brow powder to define her naturally fair eye brows, dark brown eye shadow along the lash line for subtle definition, and Ardell 110 lashes for a romantic look.
